Coming soon
Blink on your desk, not just in your pocket.

On the desktop
Everything you already have, with room to work
Your whole account, on a bigger screen
Chats, groups, channels and Spaces arrive exactly as they are on your phone — same people, same history, same end-to-end encryption.
Locker, Vault and Passbook
Reach your encrypted files, passwords, private notes and balances from the desktop. Everything is encrypted on your device before it's saved.
Voice and video calls
Take one-to-one and group calls from the desk, with a proper keyboard and a full-size window for everything else.
A PIN every time you open it
The desktop app asks for your 6-digit PIN whenever you open it, the same as the phone apps — your computer being unlocked isn't enough.
Files without the phone shuffle
Drop documents straight from your computer into a chat or your Locker. Names included, they're encrypted on your device before they're uploaded.
Devices you can see and revoke
Every computer shows up in Manage Devices. Sign one out, or wipe its Blink data, from anywhere on your account.
Getting in
Three steps, and your phone is the key
Get your access active
Subscribe from your Blink dashboard, or accept an invitation to an organisation's Space. The desktop downloads unlock once your access is active.
Install the app
Download the Windows .exe or the Mac .dmg from your dashboard and install it like any other desktop app. The installers are coming soon — the Android and iPhone apps are there today.
Scan the QR code
Open Blink on the computer and scan the QR code with your phone. Your account key travels encrypted to a one-time key inside that code, so the server relaying it only ever passes along scrambled data.
What stays on the phone
We would rather tell you than let you find out. These defences lean on what a phone can do, so they live in the Android and iPhone apps only:
- The built-in keyboard, which replaces your phone's keyboard so keyboard apps can't see what you type.
- Screenshot and screen-recording blocking, plus the app-switcher cover.
- Discreet app designs — the everyday-app disguises Blink installs as.
- Face ID and fingerprint unlock on top of your PIN.
Everything else — your chats, files, calls, Spaces and the PIN on every open — works the same on Windows and Mac. Compare the platforms →
